The Spiritual Rosary Pilgrimage

We are in the middle of the Spiritual Rosary Pilgrimage. This is the second year running and, once again, there has been a strong response. Just like last year, we have thousands participating from many countries around the world. The big difference from last year is that, this time around, we are not sending out the daily emails or using Facebook for the private group. Instead we are putting all the posts inside our new Parousia World Mighty Network platform. Parousia World is completely free to join so, if you haven’t done so already, please visit our website to learn how to get started. Also this year, we have brand new guests leading us in the live daily rosary prayers. Matthew-Hermann Tague has been hosting the live prayers and interviews. We are re-using the pre-recorded meditations from last year as they are excellent and have come from some of the world’s most renowned Catholic speakers and teachers. The likes of Dr Scott Hahn, Christopher West, Tim Staples, Jason Evert, Fr Donald Calloway, just to name a few. We have had such a great response with very positive feedback on this new experience as it also allows for the speaker to meet new Catholics from all over the world.

Matthew-Hermann Tague has done an excellent job in bringing together people from around the world to meet and greet the guests inside of a zoom meeting where they can interact with these experts. It is a unique feature of the Parousia World experience where, instead of just watching a broadcast and only being able to type a comment, you can now actually talk to the speaker and ask your questions directly. It is like you are in the room with them! What you will notice is that we only feature the guest and the host for the recorded section of the interview and prayer so we can later upload these videos to our YouTube Channel, for those who missed out on the live broadcast. When the recording stops, then it’s over to the live group inside of zoom who can interact with the speaker.

As mentioned before, if you have not yet done so, be sure to sign up to Parousia World with your free account and then simply join the Spiritual Rosary Pilgrimage group inside to see all the meditations and live rosaries with interviews. Then, to be part of the live component which is inside of the zoom meetings, make sure to click on the zoom links at 9am Sydney time each day. We are going to be journeying on this pilgrimage right up until October 7, the feast of the Our Lady of the Rosary. This is such a powerful way that we can bring people together from all over the planet to pray. A big thank you to Mathew-Hermann for for all of his hard work on this and thank you to all of the participants for making this new experience work so well.

The meditations will be made available for free until October 7 but can be purchased inside our Parousia on Demand platform for only $19.99AUD. What you receive is the twenty decade meditations from world-class speakers, keynote presentations and bonus talks, along with replays of the live rosary and interviews. Over 60 videos currently come with this digital set, available now for download or stream. Some people have used the meditations as part of their daily rosary, as each guest ends the meditation with a decade of the rosary. We’ve categorised the videos so they are all grouped together as the Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries and then separated the keynotes presentations in a separate category. You can literally just press play and you will get the full rosary lead by 20 international speakers with a reflective meditation before each mystery. Try take advantage of this series and really dive deep into the life of Christ. We are praying with the Blessed Mother while we meditate on the life of her son.

Thank you once again to all involved in making this powerful experience work. Let’s offer up our prayers for the whole world during this time where there is so much division and suffering. Please join in this pilgrimage and let’s finish it strongly! Spread the word. For all those who register on our website an email will be sent welcoming you to the pilgrimage. Then you set up your free account inside Parousia World and see all the action there. Hope to see you on the inside!

Parousia World Spotlight Podcasts

Above: Dr Robert Haddad was a guest this month on the Parousia World Spotlight podcast with Matthew-Hermann Tague

Another great month of podcasts! With the launch of Parousia World Spotlight last month, a brand new series as part of the Parousia Podcast network, we have rolled out another three shows. This new way of recording podcasts has the unique experience of allowing people from all over the world participate in the recording of the interview. This is the unique Parousia World experience that allows you to be part of the studio audience. Once the interview is complete we stop recording and then allow the participants to have a conversation with the guest. You have to set up your free account inside of Parousia World Mighty Network to take part in these recordings and to be able to interact with the guest speakers.

Above: Fr Pius Mary Noonan, the prior of the Notre Dame Monastery in Tasmania, joined us to speak on the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be

The podcasts featured this month have included Dr Robert Haddad, who spoke on a very interesting topic, ‘COVID and the Mark of the Beast’. There have been many protestant churches claiming that the vaccine is the mark of the beast. Robert addresses that claim and also shares his views on COVID and the pandemic. We also had Fr Pius Mary Noonan, the prior of Notre Dame Monastery in Tasmania. He shares some very beautiful insights to the three common prayers we Catholics pray often, the ‘Our Father‘, the ‘Hail Mary’ and the ‘Glory Be‘. This was premiered at the start of the Rosary Pilgrimage and was a fitting way to start the journey, as these prayers make up the majority of the rosary. Another guest featured this month is the very popular Sonja Corbitt, also known as the ‘Bible Evangelista’. She shared some insights on her bible study, ‘Fulfilled‘. This was a great way for the students currently completing this course to meet Sonja and ask her questions directly. We have new shows being released each week, as part of the Parousia Podcast. You can see them all on our youtube channel and website.

Benedict XVI and Beauty in Sacred Music – Scepter

This volume, which contains the proceedings of the Third Fota International Liturgy Conference, explores key themes in the Holy Father’s writings on liturgical music. The Fota International Liturgy Conferences are dedicated to the elucidation and promotion of Benedict XVI’s vision of liturgical reform, emphasizing the importance of beauty in the celebration of the Church’s rites, and the necessity to go forward into the future as part of our inherited tradition. It also provides a forum for a younger generation of liturgists and musicians, drawn from various countries, who are presently engaged in the recovery and promotion of the Church’s musical heritage for liturgical use or in composing beautiful new and uplifting works of sacred music.

Why is There Suffering in The World? – Robert Haddad

Suffering is an ever-present reality in the lives of each individual and society as a whole – pain, sickness, disease, famine, floods, plagues, earthquakes, wars – the sources of suffering are numerous. Where is God in all this? If God is good, why does he allow us to suffer? If God is all-powerful, why can’t he stop suffering? These are questions Christians and people of good will ask almost every day. This talk by Robert Haddad examines Scripture to outline the origins of suffering, namely sin, and why God allows it to affect the human condition. Though an evil in itself, God allows suffering to afflict us for our spiritual benefit and the certainty of a greater good arising from it. Furthermore, through Jesus Christ, God has intervened in the world to give us the ultimate lesson in coping with suffering and how it has a ‘redemptive value.’ Finally, Christ has won the victory over suffering through his resurrection, a victory that all who believe and obey him will share in at the General Resurrection on the Last Day.

*Featured Parousia on Demand* Romans: The Gospel of Salvation – Ascension Bible Study

Paul’s letter to the Romans has been at the center of reflection, conversion, and controversy from the time it was written. Presented by Andrew Swafford and Jeff Cavins, Romans: The Gospel of Salvation provides an authentically Catholic, comprehensive, and simple way to understand the overarching theme of Romans—salvation. This fascinating book reveals that salvation is not merely the removal of a guilty verdict; it is about entering into Christ’s life, death, and resurrection and sharing in his divine life.

In Jesus Christ, all the hopes and expectations of Israel are fulfilled, leading to the universal (“catholic”) family of God. Romans: The Gospel of Salvation will help you to make sense of the difficult passages regarding faith, works of the law, and justification. Above all, it will help you to enter into a more meaningful relationship with Christ.
