June is the month of the Most Sacred Heart and we have many resources on this topic such as Raymond De Souza’s ’12 Promises of the Sacred Heart’ or his podcast series. We also have a puzzle on the Sacred Heart. We have some articles including the latest Narrow Gate from EWTN offering a meditation of the Sacred Heart. I pray you have had a blessed June and may the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on us and bless us all.

Study Groups Update
During the months of May and June, I have been leading two face-to-face bible studies at both St Joseph’s Maronite Catholic Church and Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Parish at St Mary’s, Sydney. Both classes have been very well attended and the feedback has been positive. We are going through the famous Bible Timeline chart developed by Jeff Cavins and journeying through the bible, following the introduction study known as ‘Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible’.

We have had hybrid classes with live participants in the room as well as those logging in via zoom. This hybrid approach may be on offer more often in the future to allow for maximum participation. I am amazed by the number of young adults attending and asking so many great questions! It gives us hope that so many are hungry!

If you have not yet experienced one of these study groups and would like to host, please get in touch with us. They are free to set up and can be very powerful for your parish group. People’s lives are transformed by the end of them. You will not be disappointed!

We are going to the Holy Land!
Pilgrimages are back! Thanks to our partnership with Harvest Journeys we will be going on pilgrimage to the Holy Land twice, this coming September! The first pilgrimage is with one of our favourites and long-time friend Tim Staples from Catholic Answers. The journey starts September 3rd – 13th, 2022. He will be giving us some live bible studies from the places Jesus walked! This will be an experience not to be missed. If you have not yet been to the Holy Land, this is the perfect time to attend with a world-class bible teacher and Catholic Apologist. Another special guest will be Tim’s brother, Fr Terry Staples who is a priest and will be celebrating Mass at the different sites. Like Tim, Fr Terry converted to the Catholic Faith. I will be accompanying them on this trip, so I hope you can join us! The journey starts September 3rd – 13th, 2022. Please pray for the success of this pilgrimage.
Later in September, we will be having our second trip, this time with John Pridmore and Fr Frankie Mulgrew. The Word on Fire Bible (Volume II): Acts, Letters and Revelation (Leather Bound)
The Word on Fire Bible is a groundbreaking new series introducing readers to the strange, colorful world of the Bible.
It was designed to appeal not just to Christians, but to nonbelievers, searchers, and those with far more questions than answers.
It doesn’t presume any experience with the Bible; in fact, it was created for people reading the Bible seriously for the first time, who may be unsure of what to make of its many events and characters.
The first volume included the four Gospels, while this volume picks up the story of the early Church.
It includes the Acts of the Apostles, the Letters of the New Testament, and the book of Revelation.
The biblical text in The Word on Fire Bible (Volume II) is surrounded by illuminating artwork and helpful commentary from Bishop Robert Barron, the Church Fathers, and some of the greatest saints, mystics, artists, and scholars throughout history.
You’ll discover insights from Irenaeus, Ambrose, Francis of Assisi, Dante, Catherine of Siena, Ignatius of Loyola, Edith Stein, Flannery O’Connor, and many other teachers in the way of the Spirit.

The 12 Promises of the Sacred Heart
– Raymond de Souza (12 CD Set)
2000 years ago, the Sacred Heart was pierced by a lance and His precious blood was shed for the redemption of mankind. After His resurrection, Our Lord Jesus Christ continued to appear to mystics and saints, enflaming them with the fires of love and self-sacrifice.
Taken from the writings of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, Raymond de Souza explores the twelve promises of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, unwrapping the layers of history, society and spirituality and presenting a message for holiness and fulfilment as timeless as it is divine.
1. I will give them all the graces necessary for their state of life.
2. I will establish peace in their families.
3. I will comfort them in all their difficulties.
4. I will be their refuge during life and especially at the hour of death.
5. I will shed abundant blessings upon all their undertakings.
6. Sinners shall find in My Heart an ocean of mercy.
7. Tepid souls shall become fervent.
8. Fervent souls shall rise speedily to great perfection.
9. I will give to priests the power of touching the hardest hearts.
10. I will bless where the image of my Sacred Heart shall be exposed and venerated.
11. Those who propagate this devotion shall have their names written in My Heart never to be blotted out.
12. First Friday devotees will not die without their sacraments.
Liberation From E-Slavery
– Christopher Check (Parousia On Demand)
We have today more devices and systems with which to communicate than ever in history. Yet, far from strengthening human relationships, they render them more abstract and distant. Worse still, they serve as obstacles to our relationship with the divine. Find out how to navigate the “information superhighway” and find silence amidst the noise of modern communication technology.
