The Magis Center mission is to restore, reconstruct, and revitalize: belief in God; the transcendent dignity of every human person; the significance of virtue; the higher levels of happiness, love, and freedom; and the real presence of Jesus Christ. Every century has its key questions and driving themes that define its attitude toward God. The work of Magis Center answers these questions. We seek to help people find meaning in the cosmos and purpose in life through understanding more about faith, science, and reason. Magis is pronounced mah-jis. In Latin, ‘magis’ means “more.” In some contexts, it can mean “the even more,” the furthest frontier: frontiers of reason, knowledge, the universe, and reality itself.
