Emmanuel ‘Mann’ Rentoy
Emmanuel Rentoy is the Founding President of Character Education Partnership Philippines (CEP). He is also the Founder of the CATALYST for Professional and Development Services (PDS). CATALYST PDS offers seminars and lectures to educators and other school officials. Rentoy works to provide teachers and students with character and value-based empowerment growth.
Mann Rentoy
He is a lecturer from the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) in the Philippines. In his 30 years experience as a teacher, he has taught students from Grade 4 to college, as well as post-graduate school in various subjects like English, Latin, Creative Writing, Values Education and Literature, among others.
He is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) where he earned a double-degree in AB Journalism and AB Literature, and an MA in Creative Writing. At present, he is doing his dissertation for his PhD studies in the same university.
He was the Founding Executive Director of Westbridge School in Iloilo City, south of the Philippines. He was in the first batch of graduates of PAREF Southridge School, where he also taught for 15 years, occupying various posts including Principal of Intermediate School, Vice-Principal of High School and Department Head of Religion.
At present, he serves as the Executive Director of Center for the 4th & 5th Rs (Respect & Responsibility), advocating strong character development in schools, families and communities. It is an international affiliate of the Center based in the State University of New York in Cortland, NY, USA. He has been invited to speak all over the country, as well as in Washington D.C., San Diego, California, USA, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
