There is a very special reason why I am alive and also why I was named Charbel. About halfway through my mother’s pregnancy, she bled heavily for about a week. Naturally, she became very worried and went to her doctor. The outcome of that visit was that her doctor made it very clear to her that the bleeding was not good for the viability of the pregnancy and that the baby, me, would have less than a 5% chance of surviving.
Join us every Wednesday Morning at 8am for Parousia Hour with Charbel Raish & Mark Griffin with Special Guests Cate Kensey and Celie Smith, creator and narrator of the children’s audio program ‘Time With Jesus’ LIVE on the Voice of Charity.

Join Charbel Raish and co-host Mark Griffin as they interview Chris Lee, team leader of Sydney Catholic Youth for the Archdiocese of Sydney. They discuss the Abortion Bill, the upcoming Ignite Youth Conference and Sumner House, a new young men’s house of vocational discernment in Sydney.

‘Our job,’ to lightly paraphrase, ‘is to reconcile sinners to God.’
Dr Edward Sri made a huge impact on Sydney recently! The whole tour was only 5 days but he managed to fit in 21 talks to over 2,000 people!
Join Charbel and Mark as they speak with Katrina Zeno, Theology of the Body expert, and Chris Da Silva, a student at one of Katrina’s recent courses, for an engaging discussion on Theology of the Body!
Darwin’s era was one of great and, in retrospect, exaggerated optimism in science.
A friend once made a pilgrimage to Ars in France, home of the fabled Curé d’Ars, St John Mary Vianney.
What fascinated me at the time, as a young adult, wasn’t so much his priestly ministry, which was impressive enough
